We will offer a seasonal Fukamushi Sencha called “Akigokoro” from shizuoka/ Kakegawa,it has a mellow-aromatic green sencha taste to nice for chilling in fall season.

What is so special? Sencha in this fall season?

Some new harvested SHINCHA this year are half-finished and stored for six months in a special refrigerated warehouse for tea. In this way the the strong, fresh aroma and vigorous flavor of the SHINCHA will calm down and change to a milder tea flavor.
This is called autumn maturing tea / Jukuseo-cha 熟成茶 or Kuradashi cha 蔵出し茶. There are two seasons in Japanese tea, spring and fall in Japan.
Although the appearance of the tea leaves does not change, you can enjoy the mild taste of autumn seasonal sencha during this season with some sweets in season.
